Cancellation Policy
At Lexipont, we understand that our time, our families' time, as well as the time of our students and their families, are incredibly valuable. We deeply appreciate the commitment and dedication you show towards your child's education, and we strive to provide the best possible learning experience for each and every student. To maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of our programs, as well as to honor the commitment of our instructors and staff, we have implemented a cancellation policy. This policy is designed to ensure fairness and consistency for all parties involved while also allowing us to effectively manage our resources and continue delivering high-quality education.
We recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we are committed to being as flexible and accommodating as possible within the framework of our cancellation policy. Your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines are greatly appreciated, as they enable us to maintain the integrity and quality of our educational programs for the benefit of all students. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's educational journey. It is important to note that this cancellation policy is an integral part of our general terms and conditions.
Student's Late Cancellation:
If the student notifies the teacher/school about cancellation less than 2 hours before the start time, it will be considered a late cancellation, and the class WILL be charged (the class will be deducted from the student's package).
Student's Late Arrival:
If the student arrives late but within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled period, the class will proceed. Unfortunately, lost minutes cannot be extended due to teachers' busy schedules.
Student's No Show:
If the student fails to log into the classroom within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled lesson time, the class will be considered a NO SHOW. The teacher will wait for 15 minutes of the scheduled class time, after which the classroom will be closed. The class will be CHARGED (the class will be deducted from the student's package).
Teacher's Cancellation:
If a teacher/school notifies the student about cancelation at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time, the class will be marked as a timely cancelation. Rescheduling the class will be attempted. No compensation needed towards the student. The cancelation will be considered timely.
Teacher's Late Cancellation:
If a teacher/school notifies the student about cancellation less than 2 hours before the scheduled start time, the class will NOT be deducted from the student's package. To compensate for the time lost, one free additional class will be ADDED to the student's package.
Teacher's Late Arrival:
If the teacher arrives late, but within 10 minutes, the class will proceed, and the lost time will be added through extra minutes in the following class or at the end of the next class.
Teacher's No Show:
If the teacher fails to log into the classroom for the scheduled class within the first 10 minutes, the class will NOT be deducted from the student's package. To compensate for the time lost, one free additional class will be ADDED to the student's package.
Connection Problems:
In the event of connection problems affecting the class, the first class will not be charged to the student. Solutions should be explored, such as proximity to the WiFi router, using a cable connection, alternative platforms like Zoom or WhatsApp, or audio-only if video poses issues.
Cancellation of a Course:
If you can no longer attend lessons, alternative options will be considered before cancelling the full course. Feedback, teacher change, adjusting class length, or gifting remaining classes are possible solutions. If cancellation is the only option, a full refund will be provided for unused classes on your pack.
School's Right to Cancel:
In the case of insufficient enrollment, the school reserves the right to cancel a course before the first day. Affected students are promptly notified and provided assistance in enrolling in an equally suitable course. Cancellations due to inclement weather or emergencies will be publicly announced on the school's official website or via phone. Instructors may arrange additional class meetings or study assignments to compensate for missed time.
